Installation views of Silicon Landscapes at the Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco, January - July 2017
Silicon Landscapes examines the architecture and landscaping in Silicon Valley, California and how these spaces reveal ideologies of labor, technology, Cold War history, and visions of the future. The video (which has been shown in both three- and single-channel versions) combines walking tours and drone flyovers of technology industry campuses with a parafictional voiceover and found footage based on research into the history of techno-utopian thinking within the Valley.
Exhibited at the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco and Channels Festival in Melbourne.
